Requirements
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Classroom or workshop experience working with youth
- Experience mentoring youth and facilitating group discussions
- Strong communication skills; able to listen carefully and give positive feedback
- Excellent follow-up and persuasion skills with the ability to resolve conflict
- Objective-oriented presentation style
- Familiarity with online meeting tools (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Reliable transportation
Duties
- Lead and facilitate assigned in-person sessions per assigned group
- Participate in I AM N.I.T.A's virtual interview and virtual Facilitator Training / Onboarding Sessions
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for participants
- Relate to students about their personal experiences and provide a positive learning environment with quality and consistency
- Facilitate group discussions in a positive manner that ensures opportunities for participation by all girls
- Maintain positive, courteous, and respectful behavior with students, parents, and administration
- Serve as an I AM N.I.T.A Brand Ambassador while performing facilitator-related duties
Interview Process
Interviews take place via Zoom. Ideal candidates will participate in virtual scenarios and a series of questions. Applicants are required to have access to a computer or laptop with audio, video, and a high-speed internet connection. Cell phones are not permitted.
All new hires must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
